ASUS ROG Swift PG48UQ

ASUS ROG Swift PG48UQ isn't on display at the booth, sadly.

The ASUS ROG Swift PG48UQ is a 48-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor that brings the best for those who pay for the best.

You’re looking at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels resolution with 0.1ms GTG response times, 120Hz refresh rate, and true 10-bit colour support with its 98% DCI-P3 colour space. The monitor also packs auto low latency mode (ALLM) and variable refresh rate (VRR), all underneath its 900-nits peak brightness panel.

Acting as the true window to your gaming experience, the PG48UQ offers HDMI 2.1 which supports 4K120Hz gaming on consoles without chroma subsampling. It has two of those ports, on top of two more HDMI 2.0 and one DisplayPort 1.4 for all-in display connectivity.

Originally at S$2,749, this monster of a panel is now only S$2,559 at Comex 2023’s Challenger booth on Level 3, Booth 301. Challenger said that buying the ROG Swift PG48UQ comes with free delivery, so you don’t have to worry about lugging this 48-incher home.

Cooler Master CK721 wireless mechanical keyboard

Cooler Master CK721.

Here’s a wireless mechanical keyboard for under S$100 from a reputable brand.

Cooler Master’s CK721 is a 65% keyboard with a choice between red, blue, and brown TTC mechanical switches, making it ideal for both work and play (definitely play, in our books). It uses both Bluetooth 5.1 and 2.4GHz wireless connectivity, so it even works across PC, Mac, laptops, and mobile devices. The rotary encoder (knob) in the top right can be configured via Cooler Master’s MasterPlus+ software for adjusting volume, colour modes, and other functions.

Originally at S$169, the Cooler Master CK721 now goes at S$89 over at Level 4, Booth 8125 (Cooler Master booth at the front). If you realise, that’s an even lower discounted price than its previous appearance at an IT fair.

Elgato Stream Deck+

Elgato Stream Deck+.

The Elgato Stream Deck+ is a popular control station for both streamers and non-streamers.

This variant (there are a few by Elgato) offers a display window for core stats, eight buttons with programmable logos, and four knobs. What they all do depends on the types of plug-ins you choose to install onto the device.

Elgato has 200 plug-ins available, which quite literally makes the Stream Deck+ be anything you want it to be. You can adjust volume, camera zoom, brightness, white balance, or even your audio chat levels with just a push, twist, or poke.

Originally at S$299-302 (depending on where you buy it from), the Elgato Stream Deck+ retails at S$269 over at Mansa Computer’s booth on Level 4, Booth 8519/8520/8521. Speak to the promoters at the booth for an even greater discount (don’t say we never tell you).

Elonxtech Gen3M wireless charging powerbank 5,000mAh

Elonxtech Gen3M.

Elonxtech has two new products added to their charging solutions. First is the Gen3M, which is the wireless charging version of its popular powerbank product, the Gen3.

Elonxtech Gen3M.

Gen3M offers three ports: USB-C with PD 3.0 at 20W (responsible for both receiving power and charging USB-C devices), USB-A with QC3.0 at 22.5W, and one more USB-A with regular charging at 10W. Wireless charging is its main appeal here, and you can find the 15W wireless charging pad on the opposite side of its LED display window. It has a capacity of 5,000mAh, which nearly two full charges on a Pro Max variant of iPhone or one full charge for 5,000mAh Android flagship smartphones.

Elonxtech is currently accepting pre-orders for the Gen3M at S$69 with an expected two-week delivery period.

If you spend above S$100 at the brand’s booth, you can grab their other new product for free: a set of four rechargeable Powercell Ni-MH (nickel-metal hydride) batteries in either AA (2,500mAh each, worth S$19.20 for a set of 4) or AAA format (1,000mAh each, worth S$14 for a set of 4).

You might even want to pick up their Powercell battery charger (worth S$22, retailing at S$15) to go with your new AA or AAA rechargeable batteries too.

Find their booth at Level 4, Booth 8535.
