Aurion Gadgets is a Singapore-based consumer electronics startup company that carries personal audio and visual products.

On display at its booth is the Aurio Syren 3 true wireless earbuds at S$120, which contains the Bluetrum BT8922 chipset responsible for all its features.

These buds with 6mm dynamic drivers have five listening modes that use active noise cancellation (ANC, Transparency mode, Gaming mode, Sleep Timer mode, and Normal mode), featuring touch controls on its earbuds for these perks.

Other perks for these Bluetooth 5.2 buds include four built-in microphones supporting environmental noise cancellation and a one-year warranty.

The earbuds carry five to six hours of listening time, with the charging case storing three full charges. The case also accepts wired (USB-C) and wireless (Qi) charging.

Syren 3 was designed to be exceptionally light, with each earbud weighing just 3.19g.

Elonxtech PowerPro Lite

Homegrown consumer power solutions brand Elonxtech now has a new variant of its popular large powerbank called the PowerPro Lite.

While it’s smaller than its original PowerPro with a lower capacity of 20,000mAh, you’re still getting 100W charging out of it, on top of support for 65W and lower wattage profiles. This powerbank is designed for portability and laptop charging, with multiple ports to support simultaneous charging of various devices.

Sweetening the package is an included 100W USB-C charging cable with an LCD indicator that tells you the wattage transferred from powerbank to device.

YouTube vloggers and TikTokers might already know about Insta360 X3, a staple for self-capture recording. Not only can it shoot 5.7K resolution videos with Active HDR, but it also comes with neat software like Invisible Selfie Stick, which automatically edits out the stick from your footage.

It supports an extremely wide 170° FOV when shooting in 2.7K resolution and does 8K360FPS time-lapses, with stabilisation supported through a six-axis gyroscope and 10m-deep waterproofing.

JBL Authentics 300

JBL Authentics 300.

New to JBL is the JBL Authentics 300, a large-format, retro-styled portable smart speaker that is designed to bring the party to wherever you are. It comes with a convenient built-in handle so you can carry this 4.8kg speaker around easily.

Does that sound heavy? That’s because you get two 1-inch tweeters, a full-range 2.5-inch woofer, and a down-firing 6.5-inch passive radiator to blow all other portable speakers out of the water (up to 100W total output).

The built-in battery supports up to eight hours of music playback, although you can also use it as a room speaker.

Wireless support comes in the form of Wi-Fi connectivity (2.4 and 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.3, supporting A2DP 1.3.2 and AVRCP 1.5 profiles. It can support MP3 sampling rates and bitrates of 16-48kHz and 80-320kbps, respectively.

MyRepublic 5G no-contract SIM-only plan

Fans of MyRepublic’s 5G SA network would know about their 5G Plus plan, which gives you 110GB of 5G mobile data, 1,200 minutes and SMSes, and Free Caller ID — all without contract at S$19.95 per month. Some would say this is already a good deal.

At The Tech Show 2023, the same plan is now supercharged with many perks. You get to pay only S$17.95/month for the first five months, it goes up to 200GB 5G mobile data for that same five months, on top of free 1GB roaming data every month for the first six months. The cherry on top is a S$5 Grab voucher.

OPPO Find N3 with Singtel

The Singtel booth has a tantalising OPPO Find N3 (U.P. S$2,399) deal for both contract and SIM-only users, and we’re gonna include both deals here.

For contract plan users, you can grab the OPPO Find N3 with a S$980 upfront cost and Singtel’s M plan (S$98/month). That works out to at least S$3,332 by the end of two years, where you get 130GB of monthly data, 600 minutes and SMSes, with 1GB of monthly roaming data in 81 destinations.

If you’re coming in as a new Singtel user (from a rival telco), Singtel is taking S$200 off the phone’s upfront cost, making it cheaper even before trade-ins, other discounts, or other promotions.

For SIM-only users, you can get a S$400 rebate inside your first billing cycle if you take 12, 24, or 36-month Singtel PayLater installment plans for the phone, along with a Singtel SIM-only plan.

Both deals also come with a free pair of OPPO Enco Buds2 true wireless earbuds.
