Leak suggests iPhone SE 4 will look like iPhone 14 with some iPhone 15 specs
The fourth-generation Apple iPhone SE (iPhone SE 4) could receive the biggest upgrade in years.
According to MacRumors, the design of the iPhone SE 4 will be similar to the iPhone 14. The iPhone SE 4 will also come with two features of the iPhone 15:USB-C and theAction button.
The 6.1-inch display is said to use the same OLED panel as the iPhone 14. Chinese display makers are reportedly vying to secure orders for the iPhone SE 4.
The iPhone SE 4 will continue to sport a single camera on the rear, but the 12MP camera is likely to be upgraded to 48MP. Apple is also expected to ditch Touch ID for Face ID on the iPhone SE 4.
Recent rumours suggest the iPhone SE 4 could be equipped with Apple's first in-house 5G modem, but MacRumors believe that's not the case. In addition, Qualcomm and Apple recently renewed the modem supply deal till 2026.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also claims that the 5G modem for the iPhone will only arrive in 2025, which does not make sense from a timeline perspective as the iPhone SE 4 is likely to launch next year.
With the iPhone 13 mini being discontinued, the days of mini-sized iPhones may be numbered if the iPhone SE 4 really adopts a 6.1-inch display.
