Devialet launched its first-ever true wireless earbuds and it's as decadent as you'd expect
Audiophiles have a reason to sit up and pay attention now – because Devialet just launched the company's first-ever true wireless earbuds.
The Devialet Gemini is what Devialet imagines a true wireless earbud tobe, packed to the brim with Devialet's proprietary audio technologies, its iconic sound signature, and its distinct look. We cut straight to the point – you can expect its Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology for noise cancellation, paired with Devialet's Internal Delay Compensation (IDC) to correct delays generated by ANC.
Other technologies are its Pressure Balance Architecture that was specially made to preserve the Devialet sound signature. The chambers within are coated with an acoustic mesh to stop external noise from polluting your sound. Each bud has separate microphones to enhance the signals necessary for ANC, while a separate microphone is used for voice transmission.
Finally, it has Ear Active Matching, a proprietary sound technology that reshapes the earbud's audio based on the listener's ear shape.
Like most true wireless earbuds, the Devialet Gemini comes with ear tips of three different sizes for different ear fit, has Siri and Google Assistant compatibility, and the carrying case stores an extra 3.5 full charges for the buds. It product itself comes with Qi wireless charging support and a compatible USB Type-C cable. Connectivity is via Bluetooth 5.0, and it's encoded using Qualcomm aptX codec.
The Devialet Gemini is available for pre-order from tomorrow (10 October 2020) onwards at Devialet retail stores (ION Orchard, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands), authorised dealers, as well as fromthe Devialet website. The official retail price is S$459.
