November is shaping up to be quite the month for Apple Arcade subscribers, with a new game slated to launch each week. Personally, Football Manager 2024 Touch (out on Nov 6) stands out among the offerings, promising players an immersive journey into the world of soccer club management. It looks to be a great timewaster for those long-haul flights. One key feature of this iteration from Sports Interactive is how players can also seamlessly transition from the previous Football Manager 2023 Touch, thanks to the new Save Game Compatibility feature – ensuring they can maintain the momentum from previous seasons.

The game also comes with an array of new features designed to enhance the managerial experience. Players can benefit from an improved training system, a reimagined Set Piece Creator, and a fresh set of Manager Principles that allow for a more personalised approach to game management. The introduction of a new request system provides players with a channel to communicate directly with club owners (imagine them speaking to Manchester Utd’s Glazers!), adding an additional layer of realism to the game. Furthermore, optimisation for iPhone users ensures smoother in-game navigation, particularly on smaller devices.

Then there’s also Sonic Dream Team. The Sega title, to be released on Dec 5, invites players into a surreal dream universe, where Sonic and his iconic team navigate a series of challenging adventures. With its mix of nostalgia and innovation, Sonic Dream Team promises to be a treat for both long-time fans of the franchise and new players alike.

Other additions to Apple Arcade's November line-up include the Disney Dreamlight Valley Arcade Edition, Knotwords+, Downwell+, and the epic puzzle RPG, Puzzle & Dragons Story.
