Logitech has announced the G Pro X Superlight 2 gaming mouse and G Pro X TKL Lightspeed gaming keyboard, the latest in its esports-oriented pro series gear. The Superlight 2 is the successor to the beloved Superlight, an ultralight rodent that is a favourite among both casual gamers and pros.

The Superlight 2 is an evolutionary upgrade, featuring an improved sensor, switches, 95-hour battery life, and 2,000Hz polling. At long last, it also finally incorporates USB-C, so you can breathe a sigh of relief. The mouse weighs just 60g, shaving a few grams off the 63g of the original Superlight.

The new Hero 2 sensor goes up to 32,000 DPI and has a unique dual array design that increases its working range and maintains tracking performance, even when lifting or tilting the mouse. The latter is good news for low-sensitivity gamers, who will often find themselves lifting up their mouse to reposition it on their mouse pad.

The higher 2,000Hz polling rate also promises more responsive aiming, because the position of your cursor is reported more frequently. However, this will come at the expense of shorter battery life. The switches are new Lightforce Hybrid switches, utilising optical-mechanical technology that combines a faster actuation time with crisp feedback.

When it comes to the shape, Logitech has decided not to tinker with what isn't broken. It remains an incredibly versatile shape, which you can palm or claw quite comfortably.

The G Pro X TKL keyboard was also designed with pros in mind. It features a more compact tenkeyless form factor to give you more room, alongside programmable keys, LightSync RGB lighting, dedicated media controls and a volume roller. Interestingly, it only comes in one switch type, Logitech's very own GX Brown tactile switches.

The G Pro X Superlight 2 and G Pro X TKL Lightspeed are available in pink, black, and white. However, they don't come cheap at S$249 and S$319 respectively. They will be available at all major retailers from 19th September 2023, but you can pre-order them now from here:-
