myFirst, a Singapore-based kids-tech company, has just updated its social community app for kids,myFirst Circle 2.0, and introduced a three new products as part of its 2023 launch, myFirst Fone R2, myFirstFrame Doodle and myFirst Frame Live.
myFirst Circle (originally launched in January 2023) boasts nearly 30,000 users across 100 countries. G-Jay Yong, the Founder and CEO of myFirst, expressed pride in the evolution of myFirst Circle, stating, "We created myFirst Circle to allow children authentic social engagements in a safe environment. Today, with myFirst Circle 2.0, myFirst Fone R2, and myFirst Frame, we're not just introducing products; we're creating a connected social ecosystem that brings families closer together in the digital age."
myFirst Circle 2.0 introduces Momojis and a Knock-Knock feature for real-time interactions. Momojis are dynamic motion emojis that add a layer of expressiveness to children's communication. These vibrant Momojis pop up on the screen with accompanying sounds, providing a lively and interactive way for kids to share their emotions with friends and family. With more friends, children unlock a greater variety of Momojis, creating a delightful incentive for social interaction.
The Knock-Knock feature allows used to share real-time moments through 60-second videos or photos. G-Jay Yong explained that the inspiration behind this feature comes from his desire to effortlessly share moments with his daughter.
This update also includes Smart Location Trackingwithout relying on GPS data. It does this by intelligently suggesting and classifying frequent locations based on motion detection and Wi-Fi SSIDs, providing real-time insights into your child’s activities and whereabouts.
Accompanying myFirst Circle 2.0 is the myFirst Fone R2, a sleek and lightweight smartwatch designed for kids. With a 1.3-inch AMOLED screen, intelligent brightness adjustment, and a 30% boost in battery life through a low-power mode, the Fone R2 sets a new standard for portability and functionality. The Magic Button on top of the watch allows users to access custom functions with single, double, or long presses, adding a layer of personalization to the user experience. The R2 is also slimmer and lighter than its predecessor, the R1s, so it's easier to wear on the young one's wrists.
Lastly, as part of the myFirst Circle Ecosystem, the myFirst Frame Doodle and myFirst Frame Live, supposedly designed to connect kids to their grandparents and extended family. These digital frames sync seamlessly with the myFirst Circle app, displaying personalized feeds of content shared by loved ones.
The new myFirst Circle 2.0 is available free on the AppStore, Google Play Store and Huawei App Gallery. The myFirst Fone R2 has an SRP of S$299, while the myFirst Frame Doodle and myFirst Frame Live will have SRPs of S$139 and S$149 respectively. All products are available now on myfirst.tech.
