New renders of the upcoming OPPO Find X7 phones have found their way onto X (previously Twitter), showing off a circular camera bump on the rear.

Two photos were posted on a Weibo account that purportedly showed the Oppo Find X7 Pro with an octagonal rear camera island. Comments left by the netizens, however, speculated it was most likely a case to hide the appearance of the actual phone.

Now, a new rendered image of the base Find X7 shows a more normal circular shape that looks similar to what we’ve seen on the Oppo Find N3.

Gizmochina has also reported a leak of the rear camera system schematics previously, with the Find X7 Pro rumoured to come with two periscope telephoto lenses, a 50MP Sony IMX858 camera with up to 6x optical zoom and a 50MP IMX890 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, alongside a main lens and an ultrawide lens.

The rumours also stated that the Find X7 Pro could be the first phone in the world to use the new 50MP one-inch Sony LYT-900 sensor for the main camera.

Inside, the Find X7 reportedly will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip, while the Find X7 Pro model will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. There’s a third model, the Find X7 Ultra, which hasn’t had as many rumours, but it’s been said that the Find X7 Ultra will also come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.

There’s no date for when Oppo is expected to announce the Find X7 series lineup as of yet, but leaks have been steadily trickling out over the last few weeks. We can certainly expect more in the days to come.
