Razer has rolled out its newest BlackShark headset, dubbed the BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed. The tech company claims this iteration to be the lightest wireless offering in the BlackShark series yet, tipping the scales at a mere 280g.

Comfort is also a priority this time with the BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed. A combination of reduced weight and improved clamping force enables a snug fit that aims to isolate external noise, allowing players to concentrate solely on their gaming experience. The headset sports breathable hybrid fabric and plush leatherette memory foam cushions, which should make it easier to endure those marathon gaming nights.

Driving the headset are the Razer TriForce Titanium 50mm Drivers but it's the inclusion of the HyperClear Super Wideband Mic that could be a real game-changer for Razer fans. First introduced in the BlackShark V2 Pro 2023, this next-gen, bendable microphone is designed to capture voice details in such a way that every strategic discussion, call-out, or celebratory shout sounds clear, rich, and natural.

Connectivity is another area where the BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed appears to have improved. The headset is fitted with Razer’s HyperSpeed Wireless Technology and also comes with a feature that minimises electronic interference in the form of an extended cable design. For those constantly toggling between different devices, the headset's Razer SmartSwitch button ensures smooth transitions between PC and mobile gameplay. With a single button press, players can switch between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth connectivity.

Razer has got gamers covered with an impressive 70-hour battery life on a single charge. The headset also sports a Type-C charging cable that allows for audio transmission, meaning you can continue to use it in a wired mode when the battery finally gives out.

The BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed is available now for $205.90 atRazer.com and authorised retailers.
