Creative updates its bone-conduction Outlier Free headphones with two new Plus models
Creative has updated its existing Outlier Free bone conduction headphones with two new Plus models: the Creative Outlier Free Pro+ and Creative Outlier Free+.
Announced today (14 July 2023), the Plus versions of Creative’s bone conduction headphones build upon their predecessors’ core offering. Like before, these are open-ear headphones that channel audio into your ears. But, the Plus versions use adjustable transducers, allowing their sports enthusiast users to get a better fit and listening experience.
Creative Outlier Free+ now comes in dark slate grey with a choice between matte black or lime green accents. Creative Outlier Free Pro+ uses midnight blue as its base colourway, with matte black or fiery orange to accompany the hue. Either way, these headphones are much more colourful than their predecessors.
Like before, both models feature basic resistance to water (IPX5 for Creative Outlier Free+, and IPX8 for Creative Outlier Free Pro+). The Pro+ also has 8GB of built-in storage for audio tracks, reducing the need for wireless music.
Both are also capable of Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity for song playback, and an extended battery life of up to 10 hours.
Creative will also launch a “mini version” of these bone conduction headphones with a fit designed for younger users (like teenagers), although the company did not share more details about this mini Outlier variant.
Creative Outlier Free+ retails at S$149, while the Creative Outlier Free Pro+ retails at S$219, starting today, on the official Creative Online Store.
