Prepare to return to darkness again with Diablo IV Season of the Malignant

Diablo IV reveals first season with Season of the Malignant

Diablo IV: Season of the Malignant

Diablo IV, designed to continually evolve and expand over time, is all set to unveil its inaugural season, Season of the Malignant, launching July 20. In a recent livestream, associate game director Joseph Piepiora, lead game producer Timothy Ismay, and associate director of community Adam Fletcher revealed the upcoming content for this season. Gamers can look forward to a brand-new quest line teeming with fresh faces and adversaries, new abilities, the first Season Journey, and the debut Battle Pass.

In keeping with the spirit of past Diablo games, seasons offer all players a chance to embark on the Season Journey anew, embracing new features and gameplay mechanics. This system creates a level playing field where players can explore new classes and builds, or traverse the season with a tried-and-true favourite, all while immersing in novel seasonal mechanics. Leveling a fresh character doesn't equate to starting from zero, as you'll retain the recognition from past map explorations and the perks from the discovered Altars of Lilith. If a mount is already unlocked, players can use it right away with the new character. When each season wraps up, all characters will move to the Eternal Realm for permanent access.
