Shrinking electronics is an iterative cycle that produces better, more efficient components like processors and graphic cards, and the same can be said for technology inside of power supplies. To deliver more power in a smaller form-factor, meet EVGA’s SuperNOVA GM, their smallest line of PSUs that delivers sufficient power that can drive high-end components.
Available in 850W or 750W models, these SFX-sized power supplies are rated for 80 PLUS GOLD efficiency of 90% and higher, with tighter voltage regulation of <2%, exceeding Intel’s <5% spec. And to cool the heat generated from all the Japanese capacitors, a 92-mm fluid dynamic bearing fan spins up during heavy loads, and stops during low to medium power draws.
In addition, the SuperNOVA GM series has a number of protections like over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit protection to mitigate a variety of electrical issues from external or internal sources.
Included in the box is an SFX to ATX bracket adapter that can be mounted on a multitude of cases, and since this is also a modular power supply, EVGA included a bunch of cables to plug only exactly what you require:-
