Honor announces pricing and availability of the V Purse foldable phone in China
Weeks after showing off the V Purse concept phone at IFA 2023, Honor just announced the specs, pricing and availability of the device in China.
The Honor V Purse is powered by a two-year-old Qualcomm mobile platform, the Snapdragon 778Gand 16GB RAM. We reckon the decision to go with the dated processor is due to cost considerations.
The folding OLED screen measures 7.71-inches, comes with a resolution of 2348 x 2106 pixels and supports 90Hz refresh rate.
The Honor V Purse is equipped with three cameras: 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and an 8MP selfie shooter. Under the hood is a 4,500mAh battery which supports 35W wired charging.
Honor will be selling the V Purse in China from 26 September. The 16GB RAM + 256GB model is priced at 5,999 yuan (~S$1,123) while the 16GB + 512GB model will cost 6,599 yuan (~S$1,236).
Honor told Android Authority there are plans to bring the V Purse to Europe in 2024.
