LG adds two new 1080p smart monitors to its Singapore lineup
LG has added two new smart monitors to its existing lineup in Singapore, introducing Full HD (1080p) versions in two sizes.
The LG Smart Monitor 32SR50F and 27SR50F have IPS displays with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, support HDR10, and a 60Hz refresh rate. Each monitor has two HDMI ports and a white remote for controls.
Smart monitors don’t necessarily need a PC connection to work. They run LG’s webOS 23, the latest operating system for LG's smart TVs and smart monitors. Naturally, it also comes with LG’s ThinQ smart ecosystem integration.
The software built into these monitors includes LG Home Office, which supports Microsoft 365, the Google Workspace suite (Google Docs, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc.), and all your smart TV streaming apps (Netflix, Apple TV, YouTube, etc.).
The panels also support casting or mirroring from Apple devices using AirPlay 2 and ScreenShare for Android mobiles. Other perks include two USB 2.0 ports, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, and integrated dual 5W speakers.
The main difference between these two models is their size. 32SR50F is 31.5 inches and has an sRGB 99% colour gamut, while 27SR50F is 27 inches and has an NTSC 72% gamut. The bigger monitor also has a slightly lower response time of 8ms, while the 27-incher offers 14ms.
