Samsung launches the affordable Galaxy A05s with a Snapdragon processor and 90Hz display
The new Samsung Galaxy A05s arrives as a replacement for the A04s that strangely, was never sold in Singapore.
The 6.7-inch FHD+ display has a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Snapdragon 680 processor, 4GB of memory, and 128GB of internal storage. There is also a side fingerprint sensor to access the Galaxy A05s. Do take note though, that the Snapdragon 680 processor only supports 4G so those hoping to access Singapore’s 5G networks will have to look somewhere else.
Available in Light Green and Black, it also supports up to 1TB of expandable storage for those who love gaming or have an active social media life. And unlike most smartphones these days, it actually still has a 3.5mm earphone jack.
To capture everything going on in a user’s life, the Galaxy A05s comes with a triple camera setup featuring a 50MP high-resolution Main Camera, a 2MP Depth Camera and a 2MP Macro Camera, as well as an improved 13MP Front Camera for brighter and clearer selfies.
Samsung says that the 5,000mAh battery has enough power to last for up to 2 days. Plus, if more power is needed, it has 25W Super-Fast Charging capabilities to get you going, quickly.
To keep everything safe and secure, Samsung guarantees up to two generations of OS upgrades, and four years of security updates.

Priced at S$208 for 128GB of storage, the Galaxy A05s is now available via the Samsung Online Store, Samsung Experience Stores, Samsung Official Store in Lazada and Shopee, and in major retail partner stores.
